The God project is divided in three parts, each representing a different form of "relation" with the deity. A relation, by definition is a two-way interaction, but in this case both -ways-, are within the self. So "God undeciphered", is the way we realte with abscence, "God's Math" is an attempt to understan how such deity have designed our brains and "God Within" is precisely the acknowledgment of such within-ness, a depiction of our internal "dialog". The God Project, like the other JACH's projects, and dare we say all art projects, abounds in nothing new, these ideas are as deep and old as the existence of human conscience. The hope is merely to have audiences approach them in a different fashion.
God Within
Through an extraordinary exploration of the idea of God as father, the author allows us to find multiple and brutal analogies. We have grown up acquainted with this idea of a father who is said to love us and whom, for our own sake, we must love back. A father from whom we read signs, and whose rules we should follow until death. A punishing father who judges us and keeps us on probation… But the author points out the most painful note of the Divine fatherhood: we have been created by an absent father, whom we stubbornly continue to wait for, taking comfort in sunsets …
